The Box
A: All subscription boxes are different, but we can tell you that our subscription box is, first and foremost, a delightful cheese + pairing experience. With curdbox, you get a totally unique and different box every month that is carefully curated by our team to tell a new and exciting story. You can select a monthly subscription, in which your card is charged for the next month’s box on the 24th of the month, or prepay for 3, 6, or 12 months at a time for your monthly box.

A: Oh man, we're so sorry about that. At this point, we can't accommodate any food restrictions in our curdbox. Our curdboxes will occasionally have nuts, gluten, meat, and other allergens in them.
A: Take your cheese out of the box and put it in the fridge. You should try to eat your cheese within the week of receiving it but it could last longer—just know that that it might not be its best self after a week.
You betcha! If you chose a GIFT subscription option you will be able to include a gift message with your order.
Shipping and Delivery
A: We ship to the contiguous 48 United States.
A:All orders have 1-2 day shipping covered in the orders!
A: Original curdboxes begin arriving on the third Wednesday of each month. Depending on your location, you may receive it the next day, on Thursday.
You will receive a tracking number when your box ships and all boxes are expected to arrive within 2 days from the time they leave our facility, but as per our terms, this isn't guaranteed. See our delivery dates on the Shipping Info page.
A: In the summer months we expect our gel packs to be fully melted by the time they arrive at your door, and we have temperature tested our packaging to make sure they keep the cheese safe (and delicious) within the two-day delivery. In the hot summer months, we use larger gel packs and we ship less perishable cheeses that are consumable even if the gel packs are melted. However, it’s best to store your cheese in the fridge when it arrives to keep it lasting longer. When you’re ready to eat it, take it out and let it come to room temp—this is always the best way to eat cheese!
Accidents and delays do happen with shipping and we do our best to watch our system for these but please let us know at crew@curdbox.com if your cheese arrived hot or melty and we’ll work to fix the situation immediately!
A: Due to some shipping issues we've had when our ship week coincides with a big storm, we may choose to hold a shipment back a few days at our warehouse, rather than send it out and have it delayed on route. If this is the case, we will let you know.
A: That's a drag! Unfortunately, due to perishability, we can't cover reship costs for customer address mistakes. But contact us at crew@curdbox.com and we've got a special reship option for you to save the day!
Accounts & Subscriptions
A: We are transitioning to a new customer account login portal, where you just need to supply the email associated with your order, and it will send you a code to sign in (no password required). If you encounter any problems with this new system, please reach out to us at crew@curdbox.com.
A: You can cancel anytime—we'll miss you but we totally understand. Go to the My Subscription page before the 23rd of the month (next month’s orders renew on the 24th) to cancel for the upcoming curdbox.If you loved it but just can't keep subscribing, be sure to post a review for us, tag us in social media or tell a friend and keep the cheese love flowing.
A: We do! While we don't currently offer a one-time box, you can purchase a 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month gift to send to a cheese lover in your life.
A: Yes! But you have to email us to do that, you can't do it on your end. Shoot us a quick email at hello@curdbox.com and we'll swap out the email address on that account.
A: You absolutely can! You can have it come every other month, every third month, every fourth month...or you can just choose to skip whatever month you want. If you need help, send us an email at hello@curdbox.com.
Other
A: Once your order has been processed on the 24th of month for curdbox (or after your initial order date), it cannot be canceled. You can cancel future boxes at any time or put your subscription on hold by going to the My Subscription page and making any changes before the 24th of the month for curdbox (when we process orders for the next month).
If you pre-purchased a subscription and need a refund, contact us at crew@curdbox.com and you will be refunded at the regular monthly rate.
A: Great minds think alike, we’re looking into this for the future! For now, we encourage you to go to your local cheese shop and talk to your monger, and follow the makers that are listed on your pairing card.
